The BSCC, with the participation of National Tourist Organisation of Serbia, had the pleasure to organise a Wine Tasting Evening at the Serbian Embassy in London on 09 November.
The guests had an opportunity to experience award-winning indigenous Serbian grape varieties, brought to the UK for the first time by NIKO Preston, one of the UK's largest wholesalers of Serbian wines. 27 different wines were presented from Serbian wineries such as: Aleksic, Budimir, DOJA, Erdevik, Deuric, Vukoje and Cilic wineries.
This wine tasting journey was guided by the UK's renowned sommeliers Mr Christopher Burr FRCA, Master of Wine, Ms Caroline Gilby, Master of Wine, Gareth Morris and Nikola Šalipur, founders and owners of NIKO Preston.
Honorary guests included Dr David Landsman, BSCC Chair, National Tourist Organisation of Serbia team lead by Ms Marija Labovic and Mr Martin Vickers MP, Prime Minister's Trade Envoy for the Western Balkans.
