Oxquant is an Oxford-based management consulting business focusing on the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science for a range of knowledge industries. Oxquant’s primary focus is finance but it has been involved in energy, legal and even health industries. Oxquant is co-headed by Dr Richard Saldanha and Dr Drago Indjic, both highly experienced quantitative finance professionals. They have collaborated with several BSCC members and they often participate in Serbian events and projects:
In November 2021, Oxquant was an invited speaker at Bizit Belgrade (after 9h40m), addressing the challenges of wealth management that Serbian entrepreneurs are facing. In health domain, Oxquant managed the consultation of several expat experts in December 2021 and contributed a submission to Serbian government.
Oxquant’s association with The Alan Turing Institute in its AI for control problems project continued with a Pathways to Net Zero Challenge commissioned by the Net Zero Technology Centre - video produced in Belgrade - announced at COP26 and run at the start of 2022.
In April 2022, Oxquant will present an invited talk on the smart cities and culture at the Institute of Science and Technology and expects to present a workshop on machine learning as well as participate in panel discussions on AI at its annual conference in York in September 2022.
As both Drago and Richard hold academic posts, teaching at UK leading universities: University of Warwick, University College London and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) as well as University of Belgrade, they would be delighted to hear from BSCC members interested in fintech, legaltech and/or data science executive level education and management consulting.
