Oxquant, a technical management consulting firm, founded in 2001 kept fostering British–Serbian connections over the last year.
Co-owners Dr Richard Saldanha and Dr Drago Indjic, highly experienced financial professionals, have continued teaching Machine Learning and Fintech postgraduate courses at Queen Mary University London, and Dr Indjic delivered an equivalent Fintech elective for the Računarski fakultet MCF Master programme.
Dr Indjic's Guide to Fintech in the Serbian language, sponsored by the USAID Serbia was presented in Belgrade last November and a one-day executive workshop is scheduled for early May.
Dr Saldanha has been developing Oxquant's relationship with the Institute of Science and Technology (IST). In particular, Dr Saldanha began hosting the IST's online AI Seminars last year.
Oxquant's most recent data science consulting and research projects have spanned a wide range of topics, including private equity investment risk management, FX trading and future agro biodiversity credits finance.
Oxquant is particularly proud of its relationship with The Alan Turing Institute, the UK's national institute for data science and artificial intelligence, which culminated in a paper on RangL, an optimization problem in renewable energy planning is due for formal publication later this year.
Oxquant will be happy to assist BSCC members with executive training and development in hybrid, virtual or on-site format, as well as research consulting projects across data science and finance.
