The Serbia Investment Forum that took place yesterday in London was a resounding success, creating a dynamic atmosphere that captivated all attendees! The event provided a comprehensive platform to explore Serbia’s significant economic reforms and its emergence as a premier economy in the Western Balkans.
The opening speech was given by Jadranka Dervisevic Kitaric, the Executive Director of The British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce - BSCC The forum commenced with insightful opening remarks from His Excellency Mr. Edward Ferguson, the British Ambassador to Serbia, who articulated the nation’s vast potential and growing attractiveness for both foreign and domestic investors. This was followed by a compelling address from Dr. David Landsman OBE, Chairperson of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, who emphasized Serbia’s robust economic landscape and its strategic role as a nexus for talent and innovation. Our panel discussions addressed key sectors: Infrastructure and Mining in Serbia Digital Transformation in Industries ICT and Telecommunication Opportunities Innovation, Sustainability, and Agro. The Forum culminated with an interactive Q&A session with Ambassador Ferguson, succeeded by a networking reception. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy premium Serbian wine provided by NIKO while engaging in further dialogue.
