The Race to Zero The Humber meets Serbia footage following the event's success

On 8th June 2021 the business champions from both Serbia and Hull and the Humber met to help pave the way for collaboration and bilateral trade with Serbi

Given the challenges faced by Serbia in greening its power generation and ahead of COP26 taking place in Glasgow later this year, both Chambers are cooperating to contribute both to develop solutions for Serbia and to promote and amplify the Humber's capabilities in green energy. The Humber is a global leader in the race to zero and its capabilities in carbon capture technologies are second to none. Serbia is embracing the concept of creating a green economy, and investment in renewable energy whilst exploring the feasibility of carbon capture for its more recently built coal powered electricity generation.
