Lochinver Consultancy Services is a boutique advisory and investment firm based in London, which has 3 full-time employees. They are sector agnostic and have so far invested in a variety of sectors, such as food tech, pharma, power, financial institutions and technology. They invest across the capital structure, deploying capital in the form of both debt and equity, but nearly always retaining a controlling stake and, in most cases, directly co-managing the companies they invest in in order to help them grow. They look at Serbia as an investment destination.
Lochinver is named after a village on the coast in the Assynt district of Sutherland in Scotland. There were 2 famous nurses from this village, Sisters Flo and Mary Mackenzie who were among the pioneering Scottish women who journeyed 1,800 miles to care for soldiers in Serbia during World War I. The humanity and valour of these Scottish women is still honoured each year in Serbia.
