This online panel with gather relevant speakers and experts in the field to talk about the UK food market trends, perspectives for new suppliers, product branding and labeling, how to find and do business with buyers and distributors, and how to successfully place and sell the F&V product in the market. Build upon the presentations and panel discussion, attendees will be given an opportunity to ask a question and open a live discussion with relevant experts from the UK, hence being able to receive the first-hand information about the export challenges to this high-demand market.

Webinar will be organized through the joint regional FAO-EBRD Project “Stimulating Diversification of Agri-food Exports in the Balkans and Eastern Europe”, aiming to strengthen agri-food companies’ competitiveness and access to foreign markets, and in cooperation with the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

The UK food market is expanding, especially after the Brexit in 2020, as market growth hit all-time high in the previous year at over 9%. The UK food market is expected to grow in the next period with high demand for fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, private label, healthy, organic, and specialty food products. There is a huge potential and export opportunities with so many growing niche segments still untapped by the regional food producers. Therefore, the webinar presents a good opportunity for regional F&V producers and exporters to learn more and get ready for export to the UK market.
