Miso: Having Delamode Balkans as part of the Delamode Group is significant for several reasons. By having a presence in the Balkans, Delamode Group can leverage this geographical advantage to offer efficient and cost-effective transportation and logistics services to its clients.

Miso: Collaboration with the British Serbian Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in our overall success over the past 10 years. As a member of the BSCC, we have gained access to valuable networking opportunities, business insights, and support from like-minded professionals. The BSCC provides a platform for us to connect with other companies, both in the UK and Serbia, fostering business relationships and facilitating growth.

Through the BSCC, we have been able to showcase our expertise and services to a wider audience, expanding our reach and attracting new clients. The chamber has also been an advocate for our business interests, helping to create a favorable business environment and promoting trade between the UK and Serbia.

Overall, the collaboration with the BSCC has enhanced our credibility, increased our visibility, and provided us with valuable resources and connections that have contributed to our success.

 

Your entrepreneurial career has seen a stellar development - from a winner of Elite’s 40 under 40 and AMM’s Manager of the Year awards, to many humanitarian acknowledgements, you continuously strive for further success and achievement. Could elaborate more on what is your main driver and share any advice you might have for future entrepreneurs?

Miso: My main driver throughout my entrepreneurial career has been a combination of passion, ambition, and a desire to make a positive impact. I am passionate about what I do and believe in the power of entrepreneurship to drive innovation, create jobs, and contribute to economic development.

Ambition plays a crucial role as well. I have always set high goals for myself and my ventures, constantly pushing boundaries and seeking new challenges. This drive for success fuels my motivation and keeps me focused on continuous improvement and growth.

In addition to personal drive, I believe that a strong sense of purpose is essential for entrepreneurs. I have always strived to align my business activities with a greater purpose, whether it is through supporting humanitarian causes, promoting sustainability, or empowering local communities. This broader perspective helps me stay motivated and inspires others to join in the journey.

As for advice for future entrepreneurs, I would emphasise the importance of perseverance and resilience. Entrepreneurship is a challenging path with ups and downs, and it is crucial to stay determined and bounce back from failures. Surround yourself with a supportive network, seek mentorship, and be open to learning from both successes and setbacks.

Additionally, continuous learning and adaptability are key. The business landscape is constantly evolving, and successful entrepreneurs are those who embrace change, stay curious, and continuously acquire new skills and knowledge.

Lastly, always stay true to your values and maintain a strong sense of integrity. Building a successful business is not just about financial gains but also about making a positive impact on society and leaving a lasting legacy.

 

Finally, as we are coming close to the end of the second quarter, could you tell us more about Delamode Balkans’ forthcoming plans and projects?

Miso: In the coming months, we plan to expand our service portfolio by introducing new logistics solutions and value-added services including exploring innovative warehousing and distribution solutions, optimising our transport networks, and offering customised supply chain solutions tailored to specific industries or customer requirements.

Secondly, as preserving the environment and promoting sustainable practices within the logistics industry. are fundamental to us, in the next period we will aim to further reduce our carbon footprint through the implementation of eco-friendly transportation methods, optimising route planning, and exploring alternative energy sources.

In addition, Delamode Balkans is committed to embracing digital transformation to enhance our operational efficiency and improve customer experience. Thus, we have plans to invest in advanced technology solutions, such as automation, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and data analytics tools, to optimise our processes, increase visibility, and provide real-time tracking and tracing capabilities for our customers.

Furthermore, In the forthcoming months, we will focus on strengthening our existing partnerships and establishing new ones. This involves working closely with our network of carriers, suppliers, and technology providers to enhance our capabilities, expand our reach, and deliver the best possible solutions to our clients.

Finally, we will actively explore new growth opportunities by targeting emerging markets, diversifying our customer base, and forging strategic alliances with local businesses and industry stakeholders.
