Today the Foreign Investors Council launched their annual White Book, a detailed and independent assessment of the Serbian business, legal and economic environment. The launch was attended by Ana Brnabic, the Prime Minister of Serbia. The FIC work closely with the EU's Delegation to Serbia and the EU Ambassador, H.E. Sem Fabrizi, also attended saying that they agreed with the assessment.
The complete White Book 2020 can be downloaded from the FIC website both in English and Serbian. Chapters include several on different aspects of company business law, several on infrastructure, others on public procurement and several on specific industrial sectors. Each chapter can be downloaded separately.
It is difficult to summarise the whole book in one sentence, but perhaps overall it suggests a slow but steady improvement in the quality of the business environment but with more work to be done.
A complete recording of the launch event including an assessment of the current macroeconomic environment by Professor Miroljub Labus is available on the FIC YouTube channel.
