Ukrainian Generator appeal:
Following a recent urgent approach by the Ukrainian Embassy to Serbia to HRH Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, we are aiming to raise funds to acquire alternative power sources (buy a generator) in Serbia for one of several hospitals in Ukraine. We are reaching out to our members and friends for help. Electricity supplies to Ukrainian hospitals are in great jeopardy as a consequence of the ongoing conflict there. Our initial target is to raise funds for one generator set.
This letter from HRH Princess Katherine to the BSCC provides more details.
Industrial generators are currently in huge demand and it is difficult to acquire one with a delivery time of less than 8 weeks (and at a competitive price). However, we have found a suitable generator produced by the Serbian company, EnergoGlobal EG (details can be found here). The generator set costs 22,020 EUR (the pro forma invoice can be found here).
We are working with the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ivano-Frankivsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These two chambers have existing arrangements to handle the import of humanitarian supplies to Ukraine properly and effectively. Transport will be provided from Serbia to Ukraine at a substantial discount by one of our members.
We know there are many demands placed upon our members at the moment. We would be extremely grateful if you could support this appeal by giving whatever you are able.
All donations should go to one of HRH Crown Princess Kartherine’s foundations: Lifeline Humanitarian Organization (UK charity number 1027278) or Fond Nj.K.V. Princeza Katarina (registration number 17347136) in Serbia. The donation should be identified as for the Ukraine Generator Appeal. More details of the foundations be found here.
If you wish to donate or have any questions please contact email@example.com.
If you or your organisation would like to purchase a whole generator, please let us know.
Please can you also share this request with as many other people as you can.
Thank you for your support!
