BSCC Serbian Trade Mission Visit to Matijašević Vinogradi

The final stop for day 3 of BSCC Serbian Trade Mission was beautiful Matijašević Vinogradi!

Matijasevic Vinogradi’s vineyard in the wine-producing region of Sumadija encompasses 15 hectares of land in Orasac, Kopljare, and Banja. One of the largest in Sumadija, the vineyard’s 55,000 vines grow the Smederevka, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Prokupac, Merlot, and Malbec varieties. Their exquisite terroir, tireless work in the vineyard, and high level of cellar expertise push the limits in creating wines of unique expression and the highest quality.

Matijasevic Vinogradi was also very successful in presenting their award-winning, premium products at this year's IFE - International Food & Drink Event in London as a part of the Serbian Pavilion. Their product line, which consists of: SoviNoa - a Decanter 2021 gold-winning white sauvignon, Belina and Rose&Rose - a Decanter 2021 bronze-winning white and rose wine, Cukundeda - a BIWCF 2021 gold-wining red wine as well as 7Hrastova white and red wine, Tri doline red wine and SoviNoa Fume blanc white wine was very popular among distributors and buyers from the UK.

Our team was thrilled to pay them a visit and learn more about their production process, especially after seeing first-hand during IFE how well Matijasevic wine was perceived by more than 300.000 people around the world!
