Regional Mining Conference in Belgrade on November 5 -6

On November 5 and 6 Belgrade is going to become the regional centre of mining during the 9th international conference on Mineral Resources in the Republic of Serbia.

This event features presentations from the most senior members of the local, regional and world’s business community and government officials. 

November conference also provides a perspective of world’s mining experience in the domain of sustainable mining, female leadership in mining, opportunities of mining projects in Serbia and the region, the best international practices, progress report for mining impact to local societies and innovations in mining. The aim of this conference is to connect mining sector investors and experts with all relevant governmental, financial and social stakeholders.

Department of International Trade (DIT) from the UK Embassy in Belgrade will not be charging OMIS costs for this conference. Participants will, however be responsible for their own accommodation and conference participation costs.

Likewise, DIT will offer UK companies the chance to hold B2B meetings with main mining companies. Information on this will be provided in the coming days.

The UK Ambassador to Serbia will be hosting a reception on 5 November at the Residence. All UK companies and members of BSCC (only registered for the mining conference) will be invited to attend the cocktail, and will have an opportunity to network with other mining industry stakeholders. Guests will include government officials, other Embassies and their delegations, conference speakers and sponsors.

Due to a limited capacity we advise you to apply early for both occasions.

Finally, accommodation at the Metropol Hotel can be booked through the event organiser upon signing up to the event. Conference participants will be able to enjoy a special rate of 102EUR per person, per night (breakfast included).
