The Innovation Policy Ignition Programme is the latest addition to the real-world impact agenda at Hughes. Hughes Hall is proud to announce the launch of a new programme designed to empower regions worldwide in cultivating entrepreneurship and innovation strategies for inclusive economic growth and long-term resilience.
The Innovation Policy Ignition Programme (IPIP) marked a significant milestone on 29 May with the signing of its inaugural contract with the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (BSCC) as the lead for IPIP in Serbia.
IPIP brings together a diverse cohort of policymakers, academics, entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders, to draw on world-class research and best practices from the Cambridge innovation ecosystem, adapted to address specific regional characteristics and priorities.
The signing ceremony took place at the Naučno-tehnološki park (Science and Technology park) in Novi Sad, during the opening ceremony of the UK–Serbia Technology Trade Mission. The contract was formally signed by Dr. Wojtek Wojaczek, IPIP Programme Director, on behalf of Hughes Hall, alongside Lord Kulveer Ranger, Chair of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (BSCC), and Jadranka Dervisevic Kitaric, Executive Director of the BSCC.
